Sunburst supports green design, products, and buildings. We show our commitment by reusing our materials whenever we can. We recycle water used to cool parts when they come out of ovens. We reuse packaging materials. We reuse shutter pieces – or regrind them and recycle them into new shutters. We recycle hundreds of tons of materials every year.

When we prepare our window treatments for transportation to your house for installation, we place reusable corner pieces on the edges of louvers and use as little cardboard as possible to box up the shutters.

Non-Toxic Paint Finish For Shutters

Our louvered shutters use paints and finishes that are shown to be hypoallergenic and environmentally safe. In our manufacturing process, our paints don’t give off fumes. When we say our paints are safe, we mean it.
